Bulgaria will give half a billion leva for innovations

Bulgarian Economy Minister Traycho Traykov announced at the International Plovdiv Fair that Bulgaria will under the Increase of Economic Competitiveness Operational Programme allocate half a billion leva for innovations. New innovation act, with which the National Fund for Innovations will also be established, is therefore already being prepared by the Bulgarian Ministry of Economy. The goal of the funding is to provide financing to creative and innovative companies that are not eligible for bank loans. 200 million leva will be allotted for technology renovation and 200 million for grants and guarantees for small and newly established innovative companies.
