EBRD provides €10 million to OTP’s Romania unit

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) agreed to provide a 10 million euro loan to the Romanian unit of OTP BANK, Hungary’s largest lender, to finance energy-efficiency projects. The loan to OTP Bank Romania SA is intended to finance energy efficiency investment by Romanian companies with long-term loans of as much as 2.4 million euros each.
