Yield on Slovenian Bonds Drops Below 2%

The yield on Slovenian ten-year bonds has slipped below 2%, a new record-low since Slovenia joined the eurozone in 2007. Yield dropped to 1.98% on the MTS electronic exchange on 1/5/2015. The pressure on Slovenian bonds decreased after Slovenia rescued its banking system on its own in December 2013, additionally the situation in the economy also started improving, with Slovenia currently recording one of the highest growth rates in Europe.
